For my creative project I chose a story that i have been working on for quite some time - Letters from Santa Claus - I kid you not - I just typed - Letters from Satan - I'm thinking sequel!! Thanks for the great suggestion, Robert!
I love me story even though it is still in the workable phase - I have yet to flesh out some of the characters because I'd like it to stay in the short story form but as I keep going with it - expansion seems necessary. Which is okay because it may end up turning into a Capstone project! WOOT! WOOT!
Honestly, I would be challenged in trying to write letters from Satan; what handwriting do you use? How long would the letters be? Does it have to be the voice of temptation or just undeniable evil? I get the sense of Needful Things.
ReplyDeleteYou could consider letters from Krampus, a German kid-punishing evil side of Santa. The mythology of Krampus is awesome; you should check it out. It’s like an unshaven Yak version of Santa with demon horns that drags bad children down to hell.
I'm telling you - we have some really awesome ideas going on here. Letters from Satan is a fantastic title - imagine what I could with that. Have an anthology called Letters and each story is titled Letters from...I'm liking where this is going!
